Question :

How to decide on adding context data?

Answer :

The option "Use Geo-coordination Service" is basically importing the context data online. If you already have the files downloaded you can choose the option "Import from Local files".

The common workflow is for the context data to be downloaded from Geo-Coordination Service. You will need internet connection for this. The data downloaded from the Geo-Coordination Services can be found in the Geo-Coordination Services download path defined in the "Backstage > Settings > Geo-Coordination Services" section. It is recommended to keep a copy of this data for future use.

Revision 1 posted to GEOPAK | InRoads | MX | OpenRoads Wiki by Sanders Thomas on 6/30/2016 10:28:44 PM

Product(s):InRoads, MX, GEOPAK
Version(s):08.11.09+
Area: Corridor Modeling
Original Author:Sanders Thomas, Bentley Technical Support Group

Question:

Is there an option to change or re-associate horizontal and vertical alignment in an existing OpenRoads corridor?

Answer:

There is now an option in OpenRoads 08.11.09.872 that will allow users to change or re-associate horizontal and vertical alignments. At the MicroStation Key-in, key-in “Corridor Reattach” and follow the prompts:

• Locate Corridor

• Locate Corridor Baseline (your new alignment)

• Locate Profile Element You will then see your corridor modified in your plan view.

The solution is to drop the civil cell and recreate it.  This will restore the Valid for Placement setting to "Yes".
