This video demonstrates the tool "Create Geometry By Template". Use the Create Geometry by Template tool to access the Pick Template dialog then insert the chosen template into the drawing relative to a reference element. Any point in the template, whose feature definition is set to create geometry, will produce offset element constructions at the template defined offset.

Problem:

I am attempting to edit a terrain model that was generated by points I brought in using the SS3 Survey tools.  However, when I try to edit the terrain model, I get the error message "Not an editable terrain". 

Solution:

Before you can edit this type of terrain model, you will need to deactivate the survey processing rules.  To do this, go to the Project Explorer and click on the Survey tab.  Right-click on the survey project and select the command Deactivate Survey Processing Rules.

Clearance Report with Point Name, Station, Offset, Northing, Easting, Elevation, and Description

This report is the Clearance.xsl with the point description replacing the radial direction column.

How to access this report: 

Unzip the file (Please visit the site to view this file) and place it in the XML Data directory for the version of the product installed.  This report may be placed in the Custom folder or the Clearance folder.

(ex for XM - C:\Program Files\Bentley\InRoads Group V8.9\XML Data\Custom)
